Job Description
Step into a meaningful opportunity supporting K-12 students as a contract school psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role begins ASAP and continues through May 30, 2027. Work 30 hours per week, with a potential to increase to 40 hours per week based on student needs—offering flexibility and variety in your day-to-day work.
Your wide-ranging responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments, participating in IEP meetings, completing timely documentation, and collaborating with educators and families to support student success. Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid GA School Psychologist Certification required
- Experience providing psychological services in a K-12 educational setting
- Proficiency in evaluations, assessments, and participation in IEP processes
- Strong communication and documentation abilities
- Comfortable balancing multiple priorities and adapting to changing caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret academic, cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for individualized education plan (IEP) development
- Contribute to student support strategies and intervention plans
- Complete all necessary documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
- Provide consultation and support to educators and families, enhancing student outcomes
