Job Description
Enhance student communication and support learning as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist for the full academic year in a welcoming school environment near Tecumseh, MI. Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Valid ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Active state licensure (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Experience supporting K–12 students in school settings preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Positive, flexible approach to working with students, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech, language, and communication assessments and therapy to students as specified in IEPs
- Develop individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate records, preparing reports as needed
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and special education staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide support and resources to families to help students succeed
- Adapt services for a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels
