Step into a rewarding contract opportunity providing speech-language therapy services in an engaging K-8 educational setting. This role is ideal for a seasoned SLP-CCC interested in making a meaningful impact working with a diverse group of students, from pre-kindergarten resource therapy up to 8th grade. As the sole SLP on campus, you’ll have the autonomy to tailor interventions and foster strong relationships with students and staff.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active Florida SLP licensure
  • Recent experience in a school setting preferred; comfortable working with PK–8th grade populations
  • Ability to work independently as the only on-site SLP
  • Successful completion of required district fingerprinting and credentialing (prior prints in ACHA Clearinghouse may expedite onboarding)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy services to a varied caseload of K-8 students
  • Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments as needed
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with other educators and support staff to maximize student outcomes
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation for service delivery and student progress

Assignment Details:

  • Contract dates: ASAP through June 1, 2027
  • On-site position; 14 hours weekly, scheduled over two days (7 hours/day)
  • One assigned school, serving a range of elementary and middle school ages
