Key Qualifications:
- Current and active Florida SLP license (CCC required)
- Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
- Comfortable serving as the only SLP on-site
- Must meet district fingerprinting and credentialing requirements (ACHA Clearinghouse eligibility accepted)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Serving one school site, supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade
- Conducting speech/language and communication assessments
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Delivering therapeutic interventions, both in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintaining accurate documentation, progress notes, and participation in IEP meetings as necessary
- Collaborating proactively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success
What to Expect:
- On-site, contract role from ASAP through June 1, 2027
- Set schedule: 14 hours per week, two days per week (7 hours each day)
- Manageable caseload at one assigned campus—no site-to-site travel required
