School Speech Language Pathologist - Fort Pierce, Florida

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Florida SLP license (CCC required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience is a plus
• Comfortable serving as the only SLP on-site
• Must meet district fingerprinting and credentialing requirements (ACHA Clearinghouse eligibility accepted)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Serving one school site, supporting students from Pre-K through 8th grade
• Conducting speech/language and communication assessments
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
• Delivering therapeutic interventions, both in group and one-on-one settings
• Maintaining accurate documentation, progress notes, and participation in IEP meetings as necessary
• Collaborating proactively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to promote student success

What to Expect:

• On-site, contract role from ASAP through June 1, 2027
• Set schedule: 14 hours per week, two days per week (7 hours each day)
• Manageable caseload at one assigned campus—no site-to-site travel required
