Ultrasonographer Tech - Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin

Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A skilled ultrasound technologist is needed to perform general sonography procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract opportunity offers a consistent day shift schedule, allowing for a balanced work week and opportunities to build clinical expertise.

Schedule:

• Four 8-hour shifts each week (32 hours per week)
• Day shift

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Proven experience as an Ultrasound Tech/Sonographer, specializing in general ultrasound imaging
• Current certification through ARDMS or equivalent credentials
• Demonstrated ability to operate ultrasound equipment and perform high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Strong knowledge of patient positioning, imaging protocols, and safety procedures
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, required
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Key responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive general ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to assess image quality and achieve optimal diagnostic outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
• Clean, maintain, and assess ultrasound equipment to support reliable operation
• Adhere to established infection control and safety standards
