Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of Washington
- Previous experience working in schools or pediatrics is highly valued
- Strong understanding of IEP processes and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Evaluate students to determine strengths and areas of need, utilizing standardized assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to help students access the curriculum and school environment
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals; monitor and document student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing program improvements
- Support a positive learning environment through evidence-based interventions
