Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Athol, ID

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. This position offers the chance to make a direct impact through in-person services for approximately 50 students across two engaging elementary campuses. It’s a full-time contract opportunity with a consistent schedule—plan to work 7 to 8 hours per day, four to five days each week.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Previous experience delivering SLP services in school environments
• Competency in working with children at the elementary level
• Familiarity with school-based documentation and IEP processes
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Teletherapy experience is valued, though this position is exclusively in-person

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of about 50 elementary students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely records and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings
• Serve two elementary school sites, ensuring consistent services and support
