Gastroenterology Opportunity in Athens, GA
Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for three (3) Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologists to help expand a new program within our esteemed medical group. This is an exciting chance to collaborate with a highly productive GI physician who is eager to provide mentorship. You will have the opportunity to establish a successful practice with immediate clinical demand, supported by a well-established referral network and a long-term vision for growth.
We encourage applications from both general gastroenterologists and those with advanced endoscopy training. Ideally, we are seeking at least one advanced endoscopist, with the understanding that some general GI responsibilities will be part of the role as advanced volumes increase.
The work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, with shared on-call duties during weeknights, weekends, and holidays. Currently, the call is capped at a maximum of 1:5, with expectations for improvement as the group continues to grow.
Applicants must have completed a Gastroenterology Fellowship and hold Board Certification or be Board Eligible. We welcome both recent graduates and seasoned gastroenterologists to apply. A valid medical license to practice in the State of Georgia is necessary, and we provide full support for licensure and credentialing. Candidates requiring J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship are also encouraged to apply.
