Job Description
Bring your passion and expertise in speech-language pathology to a rewarding school-based contract position serving PreK–5th grade students! A valued educational setting near Morrison, TN is seeking a talented Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential support and therapy for approximately 30 students. This role runs from ASAP through June 2027, with flexibility for either part-time (3 days/week) or full-time availability. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children’s development, collaborating with teachers, families, and a supportive multidisciplinary team.
What We’re Looking For:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure/certification (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience in school settings, especially with PreK–5th students, preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Comfortable working onsite and providing both individualized and group therapy
- Positive, professional attitude and adaptability
Your Daily Impact Includes:
- Conducting assessments and delivering tailored speech-language therapy for students ages PreK–5th grade
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborating with educators and parents to support student progress
- Monitoring, documenting, and reporting on student goals and outcomes
- Consulting with teachers to integrate practical communication supports in the classroom
- Attending IEP and staff meetings as needed
- Maintaining compliance with school and state documentation standards
