We are in search of a dedicated and enthusiastic Family Medicine Physician to become part of our Primary Care & Pediatrics - Rockford team. This is a fantastic chance to significantly influence the health of our community while thriving in a supportive, mission-oriented setting.

Opportunity Overview

  • Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
  • Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Location: 6050 Northland Dr Ste 200, Rockford, MI 49341
  • Specialty: Family Medicine Physician, outpatient
  • Team Composition: 8 Family Medicine physicians, 2 Pediatricians, 1 Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Pediatrics Nurse Practitioner
    • Clinical Care Team Size: 2 providers and 3 MAs/LPNs
  • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
  • Call Requirements: Phone call coverage 1 week every 2 months, 5 PM to 12 AM on weekdays, 7 AM to 7 PM on weekends
  • Additional Information: Panel to be developed immediately.

Qualifications

  • Open to recent graduates
  • Board certified in the relevant clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe set by the applicable specialty board.
  • Active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one)
  • DEA license

Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivering direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
  • Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities
  • Documenting in Epic EMR
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Supporting community health initiatives
