We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Cardiologist to become a part of our Michigan Heart Cardiology team located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Position Overview

  • Employment Type: Full-Time (1.0 FTE)
  • Work Schedule: Days/Weekends/On-Call
  • Work Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
  • Specialization: Cardiology
  • Teaching Roles: Yes - Involvement with Residents, Medical Students, and Fellows
  • On-Call Requirements: Shared Call Coverage: 1:6
  • The general cardiology practice will encompass both inpatient and outpatient care, echocardiography, and other cardiac imaging based on your training and interests. Level 2 training in echocardiography is essential.
  • Inpatient and outpatient cardiology consultations will cover the full spectrum of contemporary cardiology.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
  • Active Michigan medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
  • DEA license
  • BLS certification (must be maintained) / ACLS certification (must be maintained)

  • Delivering direct patient care
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

  • Documenting patient information in Epic EMR
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
