Practice Overview
  • Deliver comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, encompassing Labor & Delivery, postpartum management, obstetric emergencies, and inpatient gynecologic consultations.
  • Be a vital member of a 24/7 hospitalist program, caring for both assigned and unassigned patients, while ensuring prompt responses to high-acuity clinical situations.
  • Work closely with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists, Certified Nurse Midwives, Family Medicine OB physicians, and community OB/GYN providers to provide coordinated, team-oriented care.
  • Manage a diverse patient demographic, from routine obstetrics to complex maternal cases requiring urgent operative deliveries.
  • Utilize Epic (Excellian) within a flexible hospitalist model that includes shared day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.

Licenses and Certifications
  • MD, DO, or equivalent foreign training is required.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified with ABMS or AOA in Obstetrics and Gynecology upon hire.
  • Possess an active, unrestricted medical license in Minnesota (or the ability to obtain one).
  • Ability to secure and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
  • Meet the criteria for credentialing and hospital privileges.
  • Current BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or in-house BLS training within 30 days of hire.
