Job Description
Advance your career as a valued Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland, supporting students’ communication and academic development across several vibrant school communities. This contract opportunity offers a flexible configuration of assignments, allowing you to combine sites for a full-time experience (37.5 hours per week) from August 10, 2026, through June 9, 2027.
You’ll collaborate with passionate educators and families, providing therapy to diverse student populations in elementary, middle, and high schools. Locations available include Forest Ridge ES (3 days), Swansfield ES (5 days), Elkridge Landing MS (2 days), Hammond MS (3 days), Howard HS (1 day), Wilde Lake HS (4 days), and an additional possible split position across Wilde Lake HS and Howard HS.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for the state of Maryland (MD SLP License required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) status
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Commitment to providing services onsite
- Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver evidence-based SLP therapy for a varied K-12 caseload
- Monitor progress and maintain organized records
- Communicate with teachers, parents, and support staff to foster student growth
- Adapt therapy to address each school population’s unique needs and goals
