Desired Qualifications:
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
- Previous experience in pediatric or elementary school settings preferred
- Familiarity with educational, home health, and general healthcare OT practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
What You'll Do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to an elementary caseload, helping students reach their academic and functional goals
- Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) alongside teachers and parents
- Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to diverse student needs
- Provide therapy both directly and indirectly, ensuring progress in classroom and home environments
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation and comply with school and state regulations
