Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid SLP licensure for practice in the state
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Previous experience within school settings, particularly at the high school level, is strongly preferred
  • Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and educational staff

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized and group therapy to high school students with a wide range of speech and language disorders
  • Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and support staff
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Document and maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Serve as a resource and advocate for speech and language development within the school community
  • Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities
