Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid SLP licensure for practice in the state
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience within school settings, particularly at the high school level, is strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, and educational staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group therapy to high school students with a wide range of speech and language disorders
- Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers and support staff
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Document and maintain accurate records and reports in compliance with school and state requirements
- Serve as a resource and advocate for speech and language development within the school community
- Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and professional development opportunities
