This contract position focuses on providing Speech-Language Pathology services to kindergarten-aged students, primarily those on the autism spectrum and non-verbal. Work two full days each week throughout the school year, with the flexibility to choose the days that best fit your schedule.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ communication skills, shaping their academic and social experiences. Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement tailored intervention strategies, empowering each child to reach their unique potential.
Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) certification required
- Experience with kindergarten or early elementary populations
- Proven success working with non-verbal and autistic students
- Active state licensure and relevant certifications (must be submitted with resume for interview consideration)
- Availability for two full days per week during the school year (days are flexible at your discretion)
- Clinical Fellows are not eligible for this assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students
- Assess student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Track progress and keep thorough records for each child
- Consult and collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families
- Contribute to IEP meetings and help shape student goals
