Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a special needs environment for the 2026-2027 school year and extended summer session. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in dynamic educational settings and are passionate about making a difference for students ages 5-21. You’ll play a vital part in assessing, observing, and guiding students with diverse needs including autism, emotional disabilities, developmental delays, and intellectual or other health impairments.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current state licensure (or eligibility)
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
  • Strong background in conducting speech and language evaluations, writing reports, and implementing interventions
  • Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and familiarity with working alongside multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adaptable to a variety of student needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations, observations, and assessments for students with a range of special needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation and create detailed reports in accordance with district and federal guidelines
  • Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans, collaborating with teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing insights and recommendations for student support
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions to maximize developmental outcomes

Schedule & Assignment Details:

  • Academic year: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Summer/June: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 2:15 PM
  • Immediate start through June 28, 2027
