School Speech Language Pathologist - Mesa, AZ

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Arizona
• Accepting Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates with supervision provided
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience working with school-age children or pediatric populations recommended
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students ages 3 to 14
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, tailoring therapy and interventions to meet each individual’s needs
• Develop and implement IEPs in compliance with federal and state requirements
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, targeting goals in both classroom and dedicated therapy settings
• Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, and families to promote student success
• Maintain detailed and timely documentation, including progress reports and data collection
• Engage in professional development and participate in school-based meetings
