Job Description
Make an impact in educational settings as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This contract opportunity involves supporting students’ communication development and empowering them to reach their fullest potential. Two openings are available: one is a full-time assignment for the entire school year, and the other covers a 0.8 FTE maternity leave from August 19 through September 30. Both roles are located in a supportive, collaborative school environment near Hamilton, OH.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active ASHA CCC certification required
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school setting is preferred
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and social success
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and professional development activities
