Job Description
Empower students and educators throughout the upcoming school year by providing vital psychological services in a supportive, educational environment. As a School Psychologist working on a full-time contract basis, you'll make a direct impact by supporting students' academic, social, and emotional growth across multiple local schools.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification required
- Experience performing psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Knowledge of intervention strategies and response-to-intervention methods
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to create individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice
Position Details & Responsibilities:
- Provide psychological evaluations and consultation services for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences
- Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives
- Collaborate with teachers and families to address student needs and support positive educational outcomes
- Work across two communities, providing services to locations in both Adrian and Tecumseh for the entirety of the school year
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for both students and staff
