Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active, valid Florida SLP license (CCC required)
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Ability to work independently as the sole SLP on-site
- Up-to-date fingerprinting credentials (can often be verified via ACHA Clearinghouse)
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy to Pre-K through 8th-grade students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor progress and document student outcomes in accordance with school policies
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain timely and thorough records, including assessments, therapy notes, and progress reports
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students
Position Details:
- Contract position, ASAP start through June 2027
- 14 hours per week (two days weekly, 7 hours per day)
- Service assigned to one K-8 campus
- On-site only, no teletherapy responsibilities
