Speech Language Pathologist in Port Saint Lucie, FL

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active, valid Florida SLP license (CCC required)
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to work independently as the sole SLP on-site
• Up-to-date fingerprinting credentials (can often be verified via ACHA Clearinghouse)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy to Pre-K through 8th-grade students
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor progress and document student outcomes in accordance with school policies
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain timely and thorough records, including assessments, therapy notes, and progress reports
• Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all students

Position Details:

• Contract position, ASAP start through June 2027
• 14 hours per week (two days weekly, 7 hours per day)
• Service assigned to one K-8 campus
• On-site only, no teletherapy responsibilities
