Job Description
Step into an exciting contract opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist working onsite for the upcoming school year. Support students across both a junior high and elementary setting, providing critical speech-language services during two consecutive maternity leaves. Key Qualifications:
- Possess an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Earned Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
- Previous experience in school-based SLP roles, preferably with diverse age groups.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes and manage varying caseloads.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to students at designated school sites, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and district standards.
- Conduct assessments, maintain accurate records, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs.
- Liaise with faculty and families to monitor progress and support student success.
- Manage a dynamic caseload covering two overlapping maternity leaves: one split between junior high and elementary, and a second for a high school SLP.
