Job Description
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students in a school-based environment near Littleton, CO. This full-time position offers a chance to work with a diverse K-12th grade caseload, empowering learners to reach their full potential.
Your schedule will consist of 30 hours per week, spanning the school year from August 24th through May 28th. You’ll primarily work with a manageable group of 25 students on a single school site, enabling you to build consistent, meaningful connections with the individuals you serve.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in Colorado
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Comfortable managing K-12 caseloads across various communication needs
- Strong collaboration skills with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, evidence-based speech and language therapy to assigned students
- Conduct initial assessments, reevaluations, and monitor ongoing progress
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals aligned with IEP requirements
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff to support student success
- Maintain detailed records of sessions, progress, and regulatory compliance
- Serve as a resource for teachers and families, sharing strategies to encourage communication development
