Our organization is in search of full-time Nocturnist physicians to become part of the Hospital Medicine team in Troy, NY. Position Overview:
  • Deliver comprehensive medical care to a varied population of critically ill adult patients, which includes managing overnight admissions, conducting rounds, and planning discharges.
  • Participate in rotating roles among Admitting, A1, and Floor Coverage.
  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to formulate and execute patient care plans.
  • Address medical emergencies and provide prompt interventions to stabilize patients.
  • Perform history and physical examinations, documenting findings in our EPIC EMR system.
  • Nocturnist Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off with 12-hour shifts.
  • Annual Requirement: 1900 hours, averaging 475 hours per quarter.

Qualifications:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in New York State.

  • DEA eligibility is required.

Compensation Package:
  • Base Salary: $352,000, based on experience.
  • The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not include productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, or other applicable cash compensation.
  • Starting Bonus: $40,000.
