New Era Custom Design and Cabinet Works is the Mid Atlantics top architectural millwork subtractor installing high end commercial millwork since 1979. We are looking for help in Cabinet Installation Department as Lead Carpenters for installing large high end commercial interiors. New Era manufactures custom commercial millwork for many different applications and clients. We build custom wall panels, reception desks, cabinetry, doors, door jambs, trim, crown, panel moldings, Corian countertops, laminate countertops, store fixtures, and much more. New Era works with the areas largest General Contractors and Fortune 500 Companies building custom interiors spaces locally and Nationally as well. Our Offices/Headquarters are located at 270 Interstate Circle in Frederick, MD. We are offering full time position with additional overtime if needed. Job Description:

• Understanding and knowledge of installing cabinets and trim
• Can read jobsite construction drawings
• Operation of table saws, miter saws and power tools
• Cleaning jobsite/work area before leaving for the day
• Knowledge of Baltimore/DC/VA area
• Sanding/polishing Corian countertops
• Can perform layouts and control lines and holding bench marks with other trades
• Good communication skills with Project Managers and Site Superintendents
• Installers must have their own hand tools, New Era to provide larger tools and equipment as needed
• Providing detailed daily recap/daily reports and jobsite photos for progress
• Communicating with other installers of daily expectations and phasing progress

Job Hours

Typically jobsite hours are 5am 1pm or 6am 2pm Monday through Friday, with additional overtime as needed at each job site location.
