Our organization is on the lookout for Fellowship-trained, Board-Certified, or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologists to fill full-time roles with our Cardiology Associates in Albany.

We are thrilled to present a signing bonus of $100,000 for new team members.

Become part of a hospital-affiliated Cardiology practice that boasts a team of over 25 physicians and advanced practitioners. This team serves patients at two hospitals: St. Peter's Hospital in Albany and Samaritan Hospital in Troy, along with several outpatient facilities throughout the capital region, including Albany, Troy, Clifton Park, Saratoga, and Wilton, NY. Our practice offers a wide array of services, such as General Cardiology, Echocardiography, Vascular Ultrasound, Vascular Clinics, Nuclear Cardiology, Electrophysiology, and Interventional Cardiology, including Structural Heart procedures.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and either Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology. We seek candidates who have a keen interest in Non-Invasive Cardiology and possess experience in managing both inpatient and outpatient cases. Outstanding clinical and communication abilities, along with a dedication to team-oriented, patient-focused care, are crucial.

RECRUITMENT PACKAGE

We provide a competitive base salary with opportunities for additional earnings through RVU-based productivity incentives and quality performance bonuses.

  • The base salary is set at $600,000 annually.
  • In the second year, Cardiologists can opt to join a Pool Model, where RVU and Quality Incentive Models are shared among pool members, contingent on meeting an annual RVU threshold.
  • The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift payments, or other cash compensation relevant to the position. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
  • A $75,000 starting bonus is included.
  • A $25,000 retention bonus is offered.
  • A $25,000 relocation bonus is available for those moving from outside the capital region.
  • Fellowship compensation may be available, offering up to $100,000 per year for early sign-on, distributed as a monthly stipend.

  • Paid malpractice coverage is provided, including post-employment tail coverage.
  • CME time and expense allowance of $4,500 per year is available.
