Maintenance Technician
Santa Fe Springs, CA/ On-Site
1st Shift: 7:00a - 4:30p
The Maintenance Technician supports safe, reliable, and efficient manufacturing operations by performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on plant equipment. This role troubleshoots mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime and maintain production quality. The position works collaboratively across teams while following safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Inspect equipment and document maintenance activities in required systems.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete repairs promptly.
- Support installation, setup, and testing of new equipment.
- Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
- Identify and recommend equipment reliability improvements.
- Maintain organized work areas and proper tool management.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical maintenance tasks.
- Authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Requirements
- Associate degree or technical certification in Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 3+ years of manufacturing or chemical plant maintenance experience.
- Certification in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, or related trade.
- Experience using computerized
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
The salary for this role is $23.00-$26.00.
