Key Qualifications:

  • Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
  • Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Knowledge of current special education laws and best practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams, families, and administration
  • Organizational skills and adaptability within dynamic educational settings

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings
  • Deliver crisis intervention and social-emotional support as needed
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to design prevention and intervention strategies
  • Prepare and maintain timely, accurate documentation, reports, and recommendations
  • Promote positive behavioral interventions and safe school environments
  • Participate in student support and problem-solving teams
