Step into an engaging school-based Occupational Therapy opportunity for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year! This rewarding contract role spans four days per week, offering the chance to make a difference in the lives of students across two vibrant districts near Swanzey, NH. Your weekly schedule will be divided evenly—two days per week in each district—totaling 30 hours, providing a dynamic balance and valuable variety.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active OT license in New Hampshire (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience in K-12 or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention planning, and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, educators, and families
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Evaluate students to identify needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Support students’ development in areas such as fine motor skills, self-care, and sensory processing
- Consult and collaborate with classroom teachers and school staff to ensure best practices
- Monitor progress and keep thorough, compliant records of all interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
