Step into a dynamic school-based contract opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist, providing critical support to students in grades 6–8 or 10–12 in the southwest Houston area. This full-time position requires on-site engagement, working 37.5 hours per week during the 2026–2027 academic year, from August 11 to May 26. Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas SLP license and Florida licensure
• Experience in school-based SLP settings preferred
• Comfortable managing a caseload of approximately 50–60 students
• Proficient in comprehensive SLP services: therapy, ARDs, testing, and documentation
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to complete district fingerprinting if not already on file (time-sensitive credentialing requirement)
• Ability to present an image of licensure upon request

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide targeted speech and language therapy in an educational environment
• Conduct thorough evaluations, develop individualized plans, participate in ARDs, and maintain accurate records
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families to maximize student success
• Flexibly transition between middle and high school student needs, tailoring support for grades 6–8 and 10–12 as appropriate
