Qualifications:

  • Holds an active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Possesses a current South Carolina Teaching License
  • SLP-CCC certification required
  • Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEPs and school policies
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication needs
  • Maintain clear, thorough documentation of sessions, progress notes, and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
  • Engage in proactive communication and advocate for student needs within the school community
