Qualifications:
- Holds an active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license
- Possesses a current South Carolina Teaching License
- SLP-CCC certification required
- Previous experience with elementary-aged students preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students in accordance with IEPs and school policies
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain clear, thorough documentation of sessions, progress notes, and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals
- Engage in proactive communication and advocate for student needs within the school community
