Job Description
Degree in Radiologic Technology, American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Ultrasound certification, and minimum 1+ years Imaging experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Sonographer to provide exceptional general ultrasound imaging services. This contract position offers the opportunity to contribute to patient care in a supportive and professional clinical setting.
Schedule:
- 4x8s – 32 hours per week
- Day shift
Qualifications:
- Current credentialing as an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer (ARDMS or equivalent)
- Proficient in performing a broad range of general ultrasound procedures
- Demonstrated experience in a hospital or healthcare environment
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with the latest imaging technology and safety protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality general ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Accurately record and present imaging findings for interpretation
- Prepare patients and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with infection-control guidelines
- Support accurate patient records and assist with scheduling as needed
- Collaborate with radiologists, healthcare staff, and other imaging professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain supply inventory

$2,735 - $2,883/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
