Two full-time positions are available to serve elementary and middle school communities located near Cicero, IL. Make a meaningful difference by providing crucial psychoeducational services in a supportive environment alongside dedicated occupational therapists and fellow school psychologists.

Key Qualifications:

  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist endorsement
  • Valid Illinois School Psychologist License
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued, though not mandatory
  • Previous experience in K-8 educational settings is advantageous

Elementary School Role Highlights:

  • Focus on conducting psychoeducational evaluations, re-evaluations, and a select number of initial evaluations
  • Engage primarily with a population of 102 IEP students, while the active psychologist caseload is distributed among the existing team
  • Collaborate closely with established OT staff and additional psychologists for consultation and support
  • Preferred interview format: onsite

Middle School Role Highlights:

  • Assignments focus on re-evaluations and evaluation-driven caseloads
  • Work with a total IEP population of 123 students, with practical caseload determined by current evaluation requirements
  • Opportunities to interact with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success
  • Interview process can be completed virtually
