Certified Speech-Language Pathologists are needed in three vibrant educational settings, serving a diverse K-12 caseload. You will be supported and valued as you help around 60 students achieve communication milestones, collaborating onsite with educators and families.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Alabama (SLP Cert in AL)
- Current SLP Educator Certification for Alabama public schools (must be verifiable)
- Valid or eligible SLP-CCC credential; strong new grads/CFs are also encouraged to apply
- Fingerprint clearance and background check as required by state regulations
- Prior experience in school settings preferred, but committed new graduates are welcome
- Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, onsite therapeutic speech and language services to K-12 caseloads (approximately 60 students per assignment)
- Complete timely assessments, develop IEP goals, and support student progress
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate speech services into educational plans
- Maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support strategies
