Compensation: $45.90 - $51.20 per hour, depending on prior experience.

Qualifications (What You Bring)
- A master’s degree in Speech Pathology , with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), or at least one year of experience working with adults/children with neurological disorders, including issues related to language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing. The candidate should also be capable of working independently within the department.
- A valid Speech Pathology license in the state (where applicable) or actively acquiring the necessary supervisory experience for licensure.
- Registration with the Department of Health or eligibility for registration.
- Recommended membership in the Speech Language Hearing Association.
- Recommended membership in the Speech Hearing Association.
- A keen interest in geriatric rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
The Speech Therapist will deliver ongoing therapy to clients promptly as per physician directives. They will communicate resident progress within the organization. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess and treat clients, liaise with families, physicians, and other healthcare team members, and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Assess clients and develop effective treatment plans as requested by physicians, obtaining necessary approvals for services.
- Initiate prescribed treatments and keep the physician informed about the client's progress.
- Ensure proper documentation in compliance with state, federal, and third-party payer regulations.
- Adhere to the Speech Language Pathology Practice Act in the state.
- Undertake additional duties or special assignments as directed by the Director of Clinical Services.

Experience Preferred
- 1 year(s): Experience with adults/children facing neurological disorders, including language comprehension, expression, cognition, articulation, voice, fluency, and swallowing.
- Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Licensed Speech Therapist.
