Gynecologist - Midlife Women's Health & Menopause

Opportunity Overview

Our organization is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Gynecologist to become part of a well-established, physician-led Women’s Health practice located on the North Shore of Massachusetts. This is a remarkable chance to join a thriving community-based practice that has been serving patients for over 20 years and to take a pivotal role in enhancing a developing Midlife Women’s Health and Menopause Program.

The practice is supported by an experienced Gynecologist, a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner, and a proficient support team. Physicians will enjoy robust integration with primary care referrals, a stable patient population, and the opportunity to cultivate a specialized clinical focus within gynecology.

This position is strictly gynecology-focused, with no responsibilities related to obstetrics, hospital calls, or inpatient care.

Clinical Focus & Practice Model

This role is tailored for a physician eager to engage in comprehensive gynecology, with a particular focus on:

• Perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopausal care
• Hormonal and non-hormonal management techniques
• Uterine health, addressing issues like abnormal uterine bleeding and fibroids
• Endometriosis and complex pelvic pain management
• Preventive and ongoing women’s health services

The practice is actively developing a premier Midlife Women’s Health & Menopause Program, offering opportunities for leadership, program innovation, and clinical advancement.

Surgical & Procedural Practice

Physicians will have access to surgical services through affiliated community hospitals, equipped with experienced operating room teams and robotic surgery capabilities. The procedural scope includes:

• Office-based gynecologic procedures (IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies, and others as appropriate)
• Gynecologic surgical procedures, including hysterectomies and other advanced techniques as suitable

Practice Environment

Lifestyle & Structure

The position features a Monday to Friday outpatient schedule, with:

• No obstetrics involved
• No hospital calls or inpatient duties

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecology (or OB/GYN)
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in Massachusetts
• Strong clinical and surgical background in gynecology
• Preferred interest or experience in menopause medicine
• Certification through The Menopause Society (or willingness to obtain) is preferred
• Interest in uterine health, abnormal bleeding, and complex gynecologic care
• Commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care
