Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential with School Psychology authorization
- Previous experience as a School Psychologist in a K-12 setting highly preferred
- Strong skills in cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessment tools
- Proficient in report writing, data interpretation, and developing support plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students as part of special education processes
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams to identify student needs
- Develop individualized education program (IEP) goals and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide crisis intervention and consultation services as needed
- Support development and implementation of positive behavioral interventions
- Engage families in understanding student strengths and developing strategies for success
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and compliance standards
