Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming semester. This contract assignment focuses on providing coverage during a maternity leave, allowing you to utilize your SLP expertise in a dynamic educational setting near Seattle, WA. This position welcomes both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and experienced Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) holders, offering a unique platform to grow professionally. Actively interviewing now, this role provides access to comprehensive caseload information during the interview process.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending Washington SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Schools-based experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability and compassion for working with a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech, language, and communication challenges
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports in line with state and district standards
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs
- Deliver direct and consultative services to ensure student growth
- Participate in planning and professional development as requested
