- Deliver primary and preventive care to women, including routine gynecological exams, Pap smears, and breast examinations.
- Diagnose and manage various gynecological issues such as menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and pelvic inflammatory disease.
- Provide prenatal care for expectant mothers, monitoring fetal development and managing high-risk pregnancies.
- Conduct deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean, ensuring the safety of mothers and infants.
- Perform surgical procedures, including hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and tubal ligations as necessary.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning options.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and current medical records, documenting patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing education and professional growth.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.
