Practice Overview
  • Level 2 Nursery: 24/7 in-house pediatricians from Nationwide Children's Hospital.
  • Births: Approximately 1,500 deliveries annually.
  • OBGYN Hospitalist Team: Available to support call duties.
  • OR Scheduling: Scheduled block time for surgeries.
  • Support Staff: 7 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to assist.
  • Urogynecology: On-site services available.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver primary and preventive care to women, including routine gynecological exams, Pap smears, and breast examinations.
  • Diagnose and manage various gynecological issues such as menstrual disorders, endometriosis, and pelvic inflammatory disease.
  • Provide prenatal care for expectant mothers, monitoring fetal development and managing high-risk pregnancies.
  • Conduct deliveries, both vaginal and cesarean, ensuring the safety of mothers and infants.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including hysterectomies, laparoscopies, and tubal ligations as necessary.
  • Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning options.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, midwives, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and current medical records, documenting patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in obstetrics and gynecology through ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, ensuring patient confidentiality and informed consent.
