We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opening for a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon (MIGS) to become part of our expanding Women's Health Service in Buffalo, New York. Our organization boasts a high volume of gynecologic surgeries and is eager to welcome a professional skilled in minimally invasive techniques, particularly robotic-assisted surgery, along with experience in managing endometriosis surgically.
Our organization is a multispecialty physician group affiliated with a prominent healthcare system, featuring outpatient facilities throughout the Buffalo-Niagara Region. We are supported by a dedicated team and comprehensive ancillary services within a network of six hospitals, establishing a strong multi-specialty presence in Western New York.
Key Requirements:- Graduation from an accredited medical school with either a Medical Doctor (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
- Possession of a current and unrestricted medical license in New York State and DEA registration.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility.
- Completion of a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS) Fellowship is preferred.
- A passion for managing complex gynecological conditions is essential.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills and foster strong relationships with colleagues, referring physicians, and administrative staff. They should be clinically focused, self-driven, highly competent, honest, and diligent.
Responsibilities include:
- Upholding accepted standards of practice in line with the responsibilities assigned by the state, profession, and society.
- Commitment to evidence-based, standardized care within a patient-centered, team-oriented environment.
- Enhancing patient understanding of their conditions, treatment options, expected outcomes, potential complications, and recovery timelines.
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, accurate reporting, and adherence to policies aimed at continuous performance improvement.
- Supervising the education of residents and medical students.
- Full-time position.
- Salary range: $450,000 - $550,000.
- Arrival bonus: $25,000.
- Relocation assistance: $10,000.
