Ascend Staffing is hiring Pulp Mill Production Workers for a busy industrial facility in Centralia, WA.
If you have experience working in a pulp mill, paper mill, lumber mill, manufacturing facility, warehouse, or industrial environment, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused workers who are comfortable with physical labor and working outdoors in a fast-paced production environment.

4:00 PM 12:00 AM
Must be flexible with overtime and production needs
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Perform Firewatch duties and monitor work areas for safety hazards
Fill 50 lb. bags with finished product
Seal and stack bags onto pallets
Move materials throughout the production area
Take product samples for quality checks
Follow work orders and production instructions
Assist with general pulp mill operations
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety procedures and required PPE
Work safely around industrial equipment
Support production goals and daily operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Previous mill, pulp, paper, lumber, or industrial experience preferred
Strong work ethic and reliability
Comfortable working outdoors in dusty industrial conditions
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. repeatedly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb throughout the shift
Basic math and reading skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attendance record
Willingness to work overtime as needed
Flexible with schedule changes based on production needs
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Authorized to work in the United States
