Job Description
• Assisting EI&C Department Engineers in assigned tasks
\n • Creating value-added changes in the Distributed Control System (DCS) and PLC programming
\n • Field data gathering, inventory management analysis, and documentation streamlining
\n • Maintaining/updating drawings and equipment files
\n • Supervising project-related items and equipment/parts installations
\n • Meeting with contractors, vendors, engineers, etc.
\n
• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field of study from an accredited institution
\n • Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver and reinforce consistent messages at multiple levels
\n • Strong team player who can effectively work with others to meet objectives and timelines
\n • Must be willing to work in dirty, noisy, hot, humid environments
\n • Ability to work with plant personnel and engineering groups to ensure the proper execution of work
\n • Prioritization of time and work
\n • Use of self-initiative and independence to complete tasks with urgency and meet deadlines
\n
This co-op position is available for the Spring-Summer 2027 or Summer-Fall 2027 semester. Hours are M-F 7A - 3P.
