Family Medicine - Physician - Cohoes, NY

Our organization is looking for a full-time Family Medicine physician to become part of our team at Cohoes Family Care in Cohoes, New York.

This is a fantastic chance to join a well-established outpatient practice that is experiencing high patient demand, supported by a hospital affiliation. Cohoes Family Care provides a comprehensive array of healthcare services for families, which includes:

• Routine pediatric examinations (well-baby and well-child checkups, school, camp, and sports physicals)
• Adolescent medicine
• General adult and geriatric healthcare (including annual physicals for health maintenance, work, school, or insurance)
• Treatment for illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions
• Preventive immunizations and precautionary inoculations
• Cancer screening and promotion of a healthy lifestyle

The call rotation is 1:4 weeks, and it is phone-only.

Qualifications for this position include:

• Board Certification and valid NYS licensure along with DEA registration are mandatory
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience is preferred, though not essential

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

Our organization provides a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• Competitive salary with performance incentives
  • Base salary: $250K-$260K
  • The stated salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not encompass productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other cash compensation applicable to the role. Additionally, providers generally receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
  • Bonus potential of up to $75K
  • $25K retention bonus after Year 2
  • Resident compensation available - up to $50K per year for early sign-on
