This is a full-time, contract-based assignment located near Middletown, OH, with the potential for both onsite and virtual (“voco”) delivery. Experience the fulfillment of supporting young learners as they develop critical communication skills at a pivotal stage in their academic journey.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification required.
- Knowledge and experience working with school-aged children, particularly at the middle school level.
- Current state licensure (or ability to obtain).
- Experience developing and implementing communication-related IEP goals.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Flexibility to work onsite or participate in virtual service delivery, depending on district needs.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver speech and language therapy services tailored to individual and small group student needs.
- Assess, screen, and document student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines.
- Collaborate with teaching staff, special education professionals, and families to ensure cohesive support.
- Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) per compliance requirements.
- Provide consultation and support to staff and parents regarding communication strategies.
