Openings are available for qualified SLP-CCCs at the PreK level at Green-Hills (8/24/2026-11/13/2026), Chippens Hill Middle School (8/27/2026-End of Nov.), and Mountain View (8/27/2026-11/23/2026). Each role offers a 35-hour workweek, allowing you to focus on impactful, hands-on intervention for students in need.
Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut SLP-CCC license (required)
- Experience supporting communication needs within school settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork with educators and families
- Ability to adapt assessment and therapy approaches for diverse age groups (PreK, middle school, etc.)
- Collaborative mindset for contributing positively in a multidisciplinary environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy for student caseloads
- Develop, implement, and document individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Support students’ academic, social, and communication growth through direct intervention
- Consult regularly with school staff and parents, participating actively in team meetings
- Maintain accurate records and meet all district and state compliance requirements
