Job Opportunity: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
We are looking for a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in the PACE program, focusing on enhancing the quality of life for seniors. In this role, you will play a vital part in executing treatment plans, facilitating therapeutic activities, and assisting participants in preserving their independence in both home and community settings.
Key Responsibilities- Implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each participant's needs.
- Lead engaging therapeutic activities that promote physical and mental well-being.
- Support participants in maintaining their independence with daily tasks.
- Collaborate closely with an Occupational Therapist and a multidisciplinary care team.
- Document participant progress and adjust interventions as necessary.
- Provide education and support to participants and their caregivers.
- Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Experience working with older adults is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
