Join our welcoming and skilled OB/Gyn team as we prepare for an exciting transition in March 2025! We are seeking an OB/Gyn Generalist to become part of our comprehensive practice situated in the picturesque Twin Tiers Region of Upstate New York and Northeastern Pennsylvania.
Our organization is dedicated to equipping all providers with cutting-edge practice environments and comprehensive support staff. We serve as a clinical campus for medical students from a local osteopathic college and host various resident training programs, including Family Medicine, although OB/Gyn is not available on-site at our medical center.
We have implemented a full-time laborist program to enhance safety and improve the quality of life for our physicians. Additionally, we take pride in our Level III NICU and have recently received a 5-Star designation from Healthgrades for our labor and delivery unit, covering both vaginal deliveries and C-sections. The role will likely involve one week of weekday daytime laborist shifts every eight weeks, with the majority of the time dedicated to outpatient Obstetrics and Gynecology. You will have full access to an operating room featuring a Da Vinci XI robot, with only backup call coverage responsibilities.
Candidate Qualifications:- MD/DO with Board Eligibility/Certification
- Current New York State professional license
- Leading OB/Gyn & Midwifery practice with a team of OB/GYN physicians, Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs), and Advanced Practice Practitioners
- Convenient outpatient office located on the hospital campus within a modern multi-specialty medical office building, along with two satellite offices
- Updated operating room equipped with extensive laparoscopic tools and a new Da Vinci XI robot
- Eight labor and delivery rooms and a 20-bed private room unit for mothers and newborns
- Level III perinatal unit
