Compensation

Pay Range: $28.68 - $34.72 per hour, determined by prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality therapy services to all patients in accordance with physician orders.
• Maintain ongoing communication with therapists, residents, and staff regarding the progress of therapy programs.
• Assist therapists with resident-related activities and direct patient care.
• Keep accurate department records as per facility policies.
• Perform therapy treatments and related tasks as delegated by the therapist.
• Provide therapy based on written orders from the attending physician, including:
• Reporting residents’ progress to the therapist and attending physician.
• Consulting with the therapist and physician regarding any changes in residents’ conditions during treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Therapy Assistant program.
• Must be a registered assistant or eligible for registration in Colorado.
• Ability to comprehend medical terminology and its application in therapy to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and physicians, as well as to prepare meaningful reports.
