Job Description
Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists interested in making an impact in K-12 school settings! Two contract openings are available for the upcoming academic year: a full-time role for the entire school year, and a part-time position (0.8 FTE) to provide maternity leave coverage from August 19 to September 30. Both positions offer the chance to work in supportive school environments and collaborate with dedicated educators.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate expertise in school-based speech services and bring a passion for empowering students to reach their full communication potential.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure in Ohio (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to complete thorough evaluations, develop and implement IEPs, and provide direct therapy services
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students per IEPs
- Perform evaluations, assessments, and re-evaluations as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families to support student goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring
- Contribute to building a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment
