Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Must hold a valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Creative problem solver with a compassionate, student-centered approach
Primary Duties:
- Provide targeted occupational therapy assessments and direct interventions
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans for students
- Work closely with educators to address specific skill deficits impacting classroom performance
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support each student’s educational journey
- Document progress and communicate regularly with caregivers and school staff
